Great British Adventure Tour
Friday Afternoon Great Adventure Tour returns this year with awards that will allow registered entrants to tour the metro area ending at PIR for packet pick-up and the ABFM Noggin and Natter.
This year, on Friday, September 4th, at 2:00 pm, we will meet at, MINI of Portland (9134 SW Canyon Road).
The tour will be through mountains and farms. The best part of the tour is that we will avoid Friday I-5 traffic. Sitting in I-5 traffic in a vintage sports car is not fun, as we all know!
The plan is to meet at MINI of Portland at about 2:00, leaving around 3:00, and arrive at PIR around 5 pm, just in time to pick up your registration packet and partake in the “Noggin and Natter.” Yes, you read that right – free dinner prepared by Jaguar Owners Club of Oregon and early pick up of your registration packet. No waiting at the gate to get your packet on Saturday morning!
Tour participation requires a completed ABFM registration, and a signed liability waiver (provided at the start point). This is a lead-your-own event, with a map and instructions provided at the start point. Tour t-shirts will be available at the start point.
I hope to see all of you at the “Great British Car Tour” to enjoy a drive and pick up your registration packet.
Tour Awards will be presented on Saturday in the Main Tent during the Awards Celebration. Note trophies WILL NOT be mailed out.
Noggin and Natter
The Noggin & Natter, brought to you by the Jaguar Owners Club of Oregon volunteers, will provide you with a bit of nosh as you pick up your registration packet on Friday evening. Pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, cole slaw, salad, cookies, and a beverage will be provided from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm as long as supplies last. No-Host Bar.
Located at PIR in the main/Hospitality Tent in Towne Square.
Pick up pre-registration packets, pre-ordered regalia, and/or registration forms at the cocktail party. Avoid the pressures of on-the-field confirmations or registrations on Saturday. Besides, It’s FUN!!!

This course equalizes times and offers a more open course for larger cars.
