Q: What is included with my registration packet?

A: The ABFM registration includes a Program and Dash Plaque, and a Car Card with your vehicle information.  There are additional available:

Q: We are bringing our motor home and camping on-site. Another couple is traveling with us. Can they dry camp with us on the property without having a car registered in the show?

A: Yes, they can dry camp but must purchase walk-in passes for each guest.  If they bring a non-British car, they must park the Broadacre lot outside the main PiR gates.

Q: Can I park my non-British car on the field?

A:  On the show day, non-British vehicles are welcome to park at no charge in the parking lots outside the gates of PIR.  The field is limited to registered British cars and bikes, plus a few support vehicles, on the show day.  However, for the swap meet on Sunday, those who have registered for a swap meet space may park their non-British vehicles in the swap meet area.

Q: Is there a shuttle bus from the spectator parking area to the display area?

A: Yes, there is a regularly scheduled shuttlebus from spectator parking to vehicle display area.

Q: Is there Handicap Parking?

A:  There is Handicapped parking adjacent to the field. Ask a Worker Bee for the exact location.

Q: When can I move my RV onto the field?

A:  RVs may arrive after noon on Friday.

Q: Can I place my car on the field early? I am going to be in Portland on Wednesday.

A:  No, cars may be placed on the field Saturday at 8 AM.

Q:  Can I camp?

A:  Yes, overnight camping at PIR is available for registered vehicles.

Q: I used the wrong car class code when I registered, how do I fix it?

A:  Email registrar@abfm-pdx.com so that your registration will be correct the day of the show.

 Q: I’m unable to take the car I registered for day of the event, can I change it?

A:  Visit registration Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Q: I forgot to add a photo, can I still upload it?

A:  Login to your ABFM account and upload your photo by August 25th.

 Q: Can I register online with Apple pay?

A:  No, we are unable to support Apple Pay.

Q: Can you list my car for sale on your website or Facebook?

A:  No.

 Q: Can I bring my own food to the Banquet? I cannot eat what is on the menu.

A: Sorry, we are contractually prohibited from bringing in outside food to the banquet.  You may, of course, consume your own food outside of the banquet tent.

 Q: Can I reserve a camping spot?

A: Campsites are not strictly defined or demarcated and therefore a specific area may not be reserved.  Camping places are available on a first come, first served basis.

 Q: How do I register for the slalom?

A: Registration for the Giant Slalom opens in the Main Tent at 10:00 am and closes at 11:15 am on both Saturday and Sunday.

 Q: I registered for the ABFM this year. I want to try to sell a different car than the one I registered. Could I bring the second car to sell on Sunday as part of my normal registration fee?

A: Yes.

 Q: What time can I pick up my registration packet on Friday?

A: Registration opens in the Main Tent beginning at 5 p.m.

 Q: What is the deadline for adding a photo and still have it in the program?

A: We must receive your photo by August 25th.

 Q: I mailed my registration, but the check has not cleared. Why is it taking so long?

A: We process payments in batches at regular intervals, so your check may not be cashed for some time after it is received.  If it has been more than four weeks, please email us to confirm our receipt of your payment (registrar@abfm-pdx.com).

 Q: Looks like I registered twice. How do I fix it?

A: Email the registrar and ask them to delete one of your registrations (registrar@abfm-pdx.com).

Q: How many people can I bring to the event in my registered British car without having to pay an additional fee per person? I can fit 8 people in my Range Rover.

A: A registration covers one car and a guest. Kids under 18 are free. Wear a Kilt and get in free. Spectator entrance fee: $15 Per Person for Each Day.

Q: How do I change my address on the registration site?

A: Once you have registered online, the only way to make changes is to contact the registrar. (registrar@abfm-pdx.com).

 Q: Where are the RV campsites on the field?

A: The campsites are located north and west of the show field.

 Q: Can I bring my dog to the event?  Do I need to have a leash on them?

A: PIR is a city park.  Pets are allowed and must be leashed at all times.

 Q: Where do I find the results for the Giant Slalom?

A: The awards presentation is Sunday at 3 PM. Results are posted on the ABFM website after the event. Location of the awards is in the main tent.

 Q: What is the largest trailer I can bring?

A: 45 feet. Park in the designated trailer parking area found on the map.

 Q: Do you have a size limit on RVs?

A: No, size is limited only by the height and width of the main gate.

 Q: Do you have security at the event?

A: There is overnight security inside PIR both Friday night and Saturday night; however, we recommend that you secure your vehicle against theft and do not leave any valuables inside it. ABFM is not responsible for your personal belongings.
