44th Annual


This event will be held from September 4th, 2020 through September 6th, 2020. Starting Friday evening and concluding on Sunday. There will be plenty of fun activities: Meet and Greet Parties, Camping, Vintage Races, Land Rover Adventure rides, and photo competition, vendors, plus over 800 vehicles!

Saturday - September 5th, 2020

  • Guided Walking Preservation/Restoration Tour — 9:00 AM
    Learn more about classic British car preservation and restoration, the basic steps involved and more importantly... How to do it right! Hosted by roving automotive journalists Paul Duchene & Jeff Zurschmeide. Tour begins in front of "The Regalia Tent" promptly at 9:00 AM
  • Scavenger Hunt — 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    An All British Car scavenger hunt is a wonderful way to help kids open their eyes to the world around them and look at things a little more closely.
  • Talking MG with Paul & Jeff — 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM
    Explore 90 years of MG history with British automotive journalists Paul Duchene and Jeff Zurschmeide. The presentation begins in Town Square at the MG display promptly at 10:00 AM.
  • Slot Car Racing aka "The Oregon Food Bank Challenge" — 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    Competition by age groups. Proceeds go to charity. 4 Best Times Go. For the Grand Prize! $1.00 a race. Saturday and Sunday the Four Top qualifiers shoot it Out for the Grand Prize! Register at the Slot Car Tent Located in Town Square.
  • Guided Walking Buyers Tour — 11:00 AM
    Buying a classic British car is certainly more involved than buying a regular automobile, and buying a classic English car requires even more savvy and diligence. Thankfully roving automotive journalists Paul Duchene & Jeff Zurschmeide will demystify the buying process. Tour begins in front of "The Regalia Tent" promptly at 11:00 AM
  • People's Choice Ballots Due — 1:00 PM
  • People's Choice Awards — 4:00 PM
    Presented on the field at 4 pm. Check with "Worker Bees" to find where your marque will have the awards presented. Be present to pick up your awards. No awards will be mailed.
    Unique Marques Award Presentation will take place at 4:30 in Town Square.
  • NO HOST BAR — 4:00 PM
    Grab a cold beverage and relax sharing the day's activities in Town Square before our special banquet presentation with Paddy Hopkirk.
  • Peoples Choice Awards Presentation for Unique Marques — 4:30 PM
    Presented in Town Square 4:30 pm. Check with "Worker Bees" to find where your marque will have the awards presented. Be present to pick up your awards. No awards will be mailed.
  • Banquet with Guest Speaker John Twist — 4:45 PM
    In the Hospitality tent. Cocktails at 4:30 pm, dinner at 5:30 pm. Raffle throughout the evening. Pre-order tickets on the registration form.

    Delicious Menu will include :
    Dry rubbed St Louis style pork ribs
    Hard wood smoked beef brisket
    Apple cider brined chicken breast w/ fresh berry BBQ sauce
    “Super Slaw” with Shredded cabbage, Kale and carrots
    BBQ Baked beans
    Mac & Cheese
    Fresh fruit of the season
    Assorted dessert bites

    NOTE: Prior to 4pm, display vehicles only will be allowed to park inside the main gate.

Sunday - September 6th, 2020

  • JCNA Sanctioned Slalom
    JCNA - sanctioned Slalom on the infield. Inquire at Jaguar tent Saturday for starting times and eligibility.
  • P.I.R. Gates Open — 8:00 AM
  • Swap Meet Opens — 8:00 AM
  • British Vehicles For Sale — 8:00 AM
    For non-car entrants, a swap meet fee of $35 will be required. 10 x 20 Commercial vendor spaces are $75.
  • Giant Slalom - Sponsored By: Oregon Mini Society — 11:50 AM - 1:50 PM
    The ABFM Giant Slalom course will be the same as last year. We have plotted the course using the SCCA pit then proceeding into the drag race start area followed by a spin cone in the drag race area as there is plenty of space for the maneuver.
    This course equalizes times and offers a more open course for larger cars.

    Entry space is limited so register early. Registration opens at 10:00 am and closes at 11:15 both days. You must register Saturday for Saturday runs, and Sunday for Sunday runs. There will be NO Sunday registration on Saturday.

    Workers are welcome and we highly recommend joining us for a better view of the event. Why watch from the bleachers when you can be close enough to smell the drivers?... I mean cars! AND, you'll receive a nifty worker T-shirt for your time!

    Trophies awarded to drivers with the best times at 2:45 PM Sunday in the main tent.

    You must be present to collect your award. Awards will not be mailed out.
  • Giant Slalom & Rally Awards — 2:45 PM
    Trophies awarded to Giant Slalom drivers and Rally drivers and navigators in "The Main Tent".
    2020 Trophies WILL NOT be mailed out.

Sunday - September 5th, 2021

  • Rally - Organized by the Friends of the ABFM — 9:00 AM

    Who: Adventurous driving teams of two persons wanting to explore the beauty of the Portland Metro Area.

    What: An Observation Rally of about two hours' duration, with awards.

    Where: The rally meeting point is on the gravel shoulder just east of Turn 12, inside the PIR main gate on the PIR access road. Look for the signs and orange cones.

    When: Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, September 5. A drivers’ meeting will be held at 9:10 a.m. with the first car departing at 9:15 a.m.

    This year’s Observation Rally will take you over roads and through scenery that you may not have known existed within the Portland metro area.

    Awards will be given for the winning teams who take First, Second and Third Place positions.

    Trophies will be presented to drivers and navigators of British vehicles with the best scores at 2:45 p.m. in the main tent. You must be present to collect your award. Awards will not be mailed out.
