2007 All British Field Meet of Portland, Oregon

Bring Your British cars and motorcycles. Join OVER 800 other British vehicle owners and share your interests with other enthusiasts. Replica cars made in England with British components (e.g. Panther) and specialty cars with British chassis and running gear (e.g. Arkley) are welcome, as are British bodied cars with American engines, including conversions..


See beautiful, and often rare, examples of British sports, touring, luxury, and competition cars, and motorcycles from all over the western U.S. and Canada. Enjoy the British entertainment, swap meet,vintage racing, Land Rover adventure rides, and other activities. Spectators must pay a small fee of $10 for a day pass, or $20 for a weekend pass. Children under 12 are free with an accompanying adult.

Vintage Racing

The All British Field Meet, in cooperation with the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN), presents the Columbia River Classic on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Land Rover Adventure Ride

Take the adventure ride of a lifetime. On Saturday ride in a Land Rover and see why its reputation as the ultimate off-road vehicle is well deserved. You will go steep hills and down precipitous drop offs. All carefully and safely maneuvered by off-road experts. Experience the "alternative" British sports car ride. Registration at the Land Rover display area with the $2.00 fee benefiting "Miles from Molly", a children's charity.

Off Road Excursions

This years Off Road Rally for Land Rovers and any Mini's, MG's, Triumph's etc., with raised suspensions and 4 wheel drive will be held Sunday at 9:15am on the main field. Attendees wishing to go on the off road rally run should sign up Saturday at the PCRC Land Rover club tent.

The run starts promptly at 0930 am after a short drivers meeting. We will be going up the beautiful Columbia River Gorge to 3 Corner Rock with its commanding view (weather permitting) of Mt. Hood, Mt St Helens, Mt.Rainer, Mt Baker, then head for some trails near Skamainia Lodge.

This is designed as a non-damaging event, and is suitable for all skill levels of drivers. It is suggested you pack a lunch and other goodies and adequate clothing as it can be cold at the higher elevations we will be traversing. Please contact Pamela at p2e2d2@qwest.net.

Swap Meet (Sunday only)

A swap meet "vending space" or a "car for sale space" is free with your 1st car entry registration. No "car for sale" signs are allowed on Saturday on the grounds of PIR. On Sunday "car for sale" signs are allowed in assigned Swap Meet spaces only. Swap meet spaces are available for non-car entrants at $35 each. Each vendor/car for sale space must have a meet registration card prominently displayed. Gates will open at 8 AM.

Souvenir Programs

If you want to have a photo of your car or bike included in the souvenir program, you must email a digital photo (as an attachment) to us when you register.

Digital photos should be saved as high resolution color photos (at least 300 DPI, 3x5 inches, JPG format ) in order to be included in the souvenir program. Please include your name and address, make, model , class and year of the car in the body of the message. The primary emphasis of the photo should be the car.

Digital photos must be emailed to Bob Wallace at bob_j_wallace@hotmail.com or bobjwallace@gmail.com. Please make the subject line: ABFM 2006 photo. Only digital photos will be accepted.

Photo Concours

Bring your photos to the display Saturday morning by 10 am. Awards will be presented: Portrait, Humorous, Action and Past ABFMs. On the back of each photo include name, phone, category, location and year. Optional: title, film and camera details.

Enjoy a BBQ Dinner

Enjoy a BBQ dinner served with all the trimmings, in the Hospitality Tent Saturday evening, September 2nd, $15 per person. Limited Tickets available, sign-up with your event registation. PRE-REGISTRATION strongly advised!

While attendees may bring food and drink for personal consumption, PIR does not allow clubs to serve food to their members. It is illegal to bring alcoholic beverages with you to the event. The only alcohol that may be consumed on the premises is that provided by the State licensed concessionaire.
